Hello folks , thanks again for the advice I am going to make a cold frame or two , when I  know what I am going to grow I will look at the seedsite for sowing and germinating times . Can I use but a general all round potting compost? I think I am  getting the general idea but I still get a bit DAZED AND CONFUSED and have realised there is more to gardening than digging and weeding which for some silly reason I enjoy but my back and muscles have started creaking over the last couple of years. Thanks again for your much needed advice image

    Cheers...................Merlot.

Dazed and confused, that sounds familiarimage

I use a mix of John Innes seed compost, multi-purpose and grit for the winter sown seed.

The mix lets me feel I've created it myselfimage but it does do the job. I don't have many failures
