Any ideas on what to  do with the very large courgettes you get when returning from holiday?

  • Stir fries, curries and casseroles - all great for courgettes of any size and toughness - I even used some overgrown ones in the contents of a stuffed pepper this week; as long as they are well cooked they are fine!   As far as the leaf mildew is concerned - mine usually get it, whether or not you water from the bottom (I've tried all sorts of methods), and the fruits are still spot on; so nothing really to worry about...

The mildew makes the plants look so unsightly but the courgettes still grow and taste delicious image

And so much saving, have you see how much a pack of horrible forced courgettes cost in tesco ???!

Im well impressed with these climbing courgettes, first time ive grown them, lots of fruit, very compact, not a sign of mildew, infact very healthy looking, would defenately reccomend image
