Stir fries, curries and casseroles - all great for courgettes of any size and toughness - I even used some overgrown ones in the contents of a stuffed pepper this week; as long as they are well cooked they are fine! As far as the leaf mildew is concerned - mine usually get it, whether or not you water from the bottom (I've tried all sorts of methods), and the fruits are still spot on; so nothing really to worry about...
Im well impressed with these climbing courgettes, first time ive grown them, lots of fruit, very compact, not a sign of mildew, infact very healthy looking, would defenately reccomend

And so much saving, have you see how much a pack of horrible forced courgettes cost in tesco ???!
The only thing i will say is they arent doing much climbing, but arent sprawling allover either, i think the variety was called black forest
