Tatty-looking, web-festooned plants

If I don't get amongst my plants on a daily basis, they seem to look really dusty, and are often covered in cobwebs. Does anyone else have this problem? Do I REALLY have to dust outside as well inside??? image

Kathyimage It is just the time of the year; borders always look a bit exhausted by August. Make sure everything is well watered and possibly feed flowering plants, cut off dead looking bits hose down tired looking foliage if there has not been any rain and enjoy the rest of the summer.image
