Sorry, no Spanish. Wonderful planters - what have they been coated with to make them smooth and which paint was used? This is a really inspriational thread.
Well done gardengirl...I really think I would like to have go and your tips will certainly help.
Yeah I do not speak Spanish, I was looking it up on the computer something like enamel exterior (painting of ships) I guess that is what makes them shiny Look good though.
Don't know if that paint is water based probably expensive to get hold of?
Well that good more people inspired by the tyre planters
Thanks for that - thats good to know you only need to paint once, would be a pain to keep painting to keep them looking good.
Where do you buy the paint? Is it sold in boat shops?
Does it come in all different colours like yellow, is the paint shiny because it is for the outer surface of a boat?
Is that ok to paint on rubber it does not melt the tyre? The only thing suggest to me from a paint company was masonry paint which is water based and which they do not come in many colours so not great.

Gardengirl:
Boat paint is cheap because once it is already well covered
other outer enamel paints require paint twice
the advantage of painting boat is its duration, many years as the first day

Lidia Cabanella's are beautiful too.
Have you decided on the colours yet although they look great washed black and the plant will set them off beautifully.
