Hi Thanks everyone for your advice but now I'm a little confused can anyone tell by looking at my photo whether mine is a phormium or a coryline please?
Sorry Nans garden, off at a tangent as usual! Whatever yours is - mine is identical, and as it was grown from seed, and has a trunk, i strongly suspect both are cordylines
I think the confusion has come from my neglect of mine which has made it difficult to deal with.
Thanks Bamboogie, Philippa and everyone glad that's cleared up ha. Verdun from what you say about controlling your cordyline do you have it in a large pot or are they in the ground? I think I would like to leave them as they are and just enjoy them as was suggested by Philippa but will they become pot bound if just left in an enclosed pot?

Nans, yours is a cordyline.

Best wishes
