Hanging baskets

My hanging baskets are beginning to look a little sad. If I trim them back will they throw new blooms? Most of the plants are sufinas.

    Yes, they should.

Give then a few feeds and some water to encourage them - there's still plenty of time to get another good show.

can I grow turfs on concrete

    No, I'm afraid not.

Grass needs about 20cm soil beneath it minimum, and would also be very prone to drought/flooding on such a surface.

    Hi eddie3

i know what you mean. Leggy and a bit thin now (my baskets, not me sadly!!). I gave up the ghost with mine today. Will look a bit bare for a while, but just makes for more excitement when it's time for the winter baskets.
