There doesn't seem to be any flower to speak of to remove on the immature courgettes - the tip plus beginning of the flower is brown and shrivelled so the flower does not appear to have formed.
This is when the courgettes are barely the size of my a little finger.
The immature courgette is behind the female flower - if you have the immature courgette there must have been a flower, but it sounds as if they're not being pollinated - it's often this way when the plant is young - it should start to improve soon ......... fingers crossed
