Please could someone tell me the name of this small tree? It is deciduous with small white flowers in the summer. Then in autumn it produces these stunning blue berries nestling in purple calyxes. Thank you.

It could be a Clerodendron

I agree, Clerodendron trichotomum. Can be confirmed by taking a leaf, rubbing it and smelling. Very pungent, said to be like peanuts but I never get thet. Lovely plant. The flowers smell good as well if you don't disturb the leaves.

Oh my God...Lilylouise and Nutcutlet, I can't thank you enough. I have been looking for it physically in the local GC but with little success. Not knowing its name, I couldn,t look it up online It bring me such happy memories of the Far East where the varieties grow wild. Thank you again
Pleased to be able to help
