Poorly conifers

Hi anyone have any ideas what might be wrong with these conifers please? I believe they are approx. 5 years old. Can I save them, new compost, feed or lopping? There doesn't appear to be any bugs on them... Thanks

Could they have dried out? Their containers look quite small, and it's been dry for ages.
