I'm new to the forums, and live near Glastonbury in south somerset. The flooding was terrible, but I didn't hear anything on the news about the heroic efforts mentioned in posts here... sadly, it's usually always the people working to help in the background whose actions go unrecorded. Good to see them being thanked here.
All this happened before I joined the forum but a huge thank you to all who got involved. Watching it on the news was awful and you just knew that it would take an awful long time for things to get back to normal.
