We all feel like that Maxine, i promise, its just experience that helps, keep a little note pad, write down things that do well and ones that dont, its so easy to forget things and repeat your mistakes, this is the voice of bitter experience! Everyone on here is really nice and will be more than happy to help. There is no right or wrong way to garden, sometimes mother nature is just i a bad mood!

dont have compost envy its shocking at the moment but im hoping coating the roots with char gold will help.
