Victoria,,if you had deadheaded terracotta early I think more flower buds would be appearing
Yes you are probably correct; I read through the thread with interest. I will do next year I think but I've given up on that part of the garden until I can start moving things around later on. Now I've had the last of the workmen trampling about I'm anxious to start shifting things
And yes, Fluffy Cloud, what Nut said, I'll send you a PM, you'll get an email and you will see it in your messages under settings when you reply no-one else will see your address but me and I'll send you mine as a good faith measure
I've fallen for achillea since getting Terracotta. The colour emerges strong and then they all fade at different rates creating a gorgeous mix. Yes, a bit leggy now, but was certainly worth it. Do I cut it back to the ground in the autumn or the spring? It's my first time growing herbaceous perennials.

I'll do it next month, Fluffy Cloud, terracotta has all but gone over anyway although WF is still flowering.
They're all tangled up with some sedums at the moment that's all and I don't want to wreck them for the bees & co.
I've put it on the calendar and I'll PM you for your address when they're ready to go.
Excellent and thanks.

I've got Terracotta too - it's fading now but you'll see it on Sunday morning, it's in front of the trellis by the front door
