Unknown tree

An old friend gave me this tree in a pot a few years ago that he propagated (I think it was 8 years when he gave me it so it must be 12 now) and I didn't plant in garden as I knew we would move eventually. I've seen a fully grown tree of this kind and it is stunning.
we are now in our "forever home" And I want to know
- what tree it is (I can't remember!) and I can't find in any searches.
- where best to plant it in a large south facing garden?
- how to go about replanting for maximum success
Any help would be really appreciated

It's Rhus typhina, very lovely but it can be a pain with suckering.
In the sticks near Peterborough
Ditto, once planted try not to disturb the roots or it'll pop up everywhere! Forms a beautiful umbrella type structure once fully grown! About 3.5 m tall with similar spread
