Hi all hope someone can help me (again) I have grown leeks for the first time & I have noticed they have got seed pods on the top does this mean I can't now eat them & what should I do next very confused

Sounds like they have bolted and gone to seed.
When a leek flowers, it causes the neck or lower stem of the leek to become woody and tough. The leek also become bitter to taste. While you can technically still eat leeks you probably won’t like the flavor.
Agreed. Pull and eat any which haven't yet bolted as, in my experience, once a few bolt the rest aren't far behind. They aren't seed pods (yet) but flower buds, so you may as well let the bolted ones flower (which are quite attractive) and then you can collect the seeds later in the year.
