Hi, back for more advice please? My late potatoes has grown small green hard ( apple like in appearance) growths on a leggy extra stem above ground? Could anyone tell me what they could be & if it affects the potatoes? Thanks Connie

It's the seeds of the potatoes - they look a bit like tomatoes, but are poisonous.  Do not eat them - you can remove them or not as you wish but they do no harm to the potatoes.
