There you go, mystery solved by Detective Pansy image I didn't know that badgers could 'steal' without leaving any signs either, really interesting, although I don't think they'd be brave enough in our garden and I don't think we have any round here??

Haven't ever seen any in the garden, but backing onto fields and woods there's a possibility.

My bother in law live in old town Swindon very built up no woodlands or fields and they get Badgers coming into the Garden , in fact he encourages them , but they still make a hell of mess

the one time we stayed there we had 2 adults and a youngster coming of an evening , never seen them before in the flesh image

I will start a new thread tomoz' after seeing what happens tonight. Something has been eating drowned slugs out of beer traps, and not totally knocking the lids off imageWasn't under gardenerimage

Dove if you meant my beer traps hedgehog was my thought, as something has walked all over aubrieta to get to it.  But unless they stick paws in and fish I can't understand why lid is still almost on image

My garlic was awful this year mouldy yet the earth wasn't wet.
