Bizzie, when I first moved in my back garden was a lawn with a row of conifers at the far end and the first time I visited Tatton it blew me away, I went a bit silly on my 1st year and bought shed loads of plants. They filled the whole of the car and the Mrs had to have smaller plants on her lap! Well, when I got home the chainsaw came out, the conifers were cut down and borders were extended. Each year the back lawn got smaller and smaller.
Aliesh, I went to Chelsea a few years ago and came away with lots of leaflets too, spent ages checking out different nurseries before spending my hard earned money
I have found that you see more from the tv programme but miss the buzz, atmosphere and the wonderful sights in situ. An experience to be remembered.

Bubba, I can see we will recognise each other
.
Do any of the gardens there inspire you to change your own? I vind some of the colour combinations persuade me to try a new plant (or two)
