Could somebody tell me what this is please? I have always thought it was a euonymus, but having googled images of euonymus, have now decided that it isn't! Any information would be very welcome.

Going by the seed heads it looks like a form of Arum italicum.

Ideal for filling the cracks in spots too small for almost anything else ... just as you have there. I've planted some in a similar space in this garden.
