    A quick update.

I managed to collar the neighbour who lives next door to the jungle garden, and he now has a friend round who is tackling what has grown into his garden, and onto his shed (evil plant). As well as this he is also going to treat with glyphosate.

Fingers crossed a two pronged attack will help get rid of the problem twice as quickly.

Good news. Round Up is inactivated on contact with soil so once the area is cleared , you can start planting or whatever without any toxic side effects.

Don't forget you need to allow the glyphosate time to work. It needs to be there til the leaves change colour . If you spray today and chop within a week it won't work.

What colour will they change to? Just so I know what to look out for image

Yellow then brown, they're dying but it takes time. Glyphosate isn't cheap and it's a total waste if you don't let it work

I won't cut mine back yet then until they're definitely dead. The neighbour is going to add it after cutting most of his part of the plant back.

Also I don't mind how much it costs, so long as it does the job and saves my fence image

Not sure if this is thanks to me spraying those bits on my side, or if it's the neighbour's friend who sprayed the top part of the plant which was creeping onto his shed. But is this promising progress?

glyphosate it repeatedly and hope it kills the whole plant, my guess is the neighbours wont even realise its died!

Hi treehugger, do the new pictures I posted look promising?

And I doubt they'll realise as they never use the garden, well apart from pegging out their washing and dumping tyres.
