Weeds in the Grass

The grass in my back garden is not your usual lawn. It is meadow grass for one thing and I don't mind the odd weed here and there. We also have two dogs. Is there something I could put on the grass, when there are too many weeds, that will not harm the dogs.

    Moving you up the forum.

I rely on other plants to keep my 'lawn' green in summer. Never thought of killing them.

I use Verdone extra which works fairly well.  Our lawns haven't been weed treated for about 15 years so I had a lot to work through.  Our front lawn is now just about weed free and I'm still working on the back lawn, although even this is much improved.  The instructions on Verdone extra say that you just have to wait until the treatment is dry, before letting children and pets on it.  I would have thought in this weather (assuming you are somewhere in GB) that would only be about 30 mins max.
