Floppy Hosta

Help please.

I've been sent a pre-planted Hosta (Carnival) as a birthday gift but it is very floppy and the leaves are softish (possibly because it was in transit over this scorching weekend). I've put it in a shaded position and am giving it frequent waterings but after 4 days there has been little change in it's condition.
