definitely no underwear on hot days, top clothing is too much

Its only been 23c here and giving 17/18 next week.

At the moment its hammering down with rain and thunder rumbles.

I read that for every 30mtr above sea level you knock off 1 degree, we are 3 times that so probably 20 or so here.

Retiring? If you are anything like me you will work harder at home than you ever did at work.

Well sort of Lyn, I'm leaving work cos life's too short to be where its no longer pleasant to be, I'm lucky I won't have to get another job, so I suppose its early retirement. Also my sister is needing help since having an operation earlier in the year, so you're probably right I will be busier image

Went shopping this am and returned home feeling almost sick with the heat. Couldn't do any serious work till 4.00. Outdoor toms were in a state of collapse, though I checked them this am and they had water. It is actually too hot to do any work in the garden from 10.00 to 3.00.

Lyn, here we are just below sea level I believeimage
