I had it sat in water, in its rootball in the shade for about a week. I wonder if it had too much water

Never heard of a spindle tree before now, has it got any other common names I might recognise?
I think,having just looked it up it is euonymus europaeus maybe red cascade - but unhelpfully I just put it in my plant index as spindle...
I searched on google images on red cascade spindles, it looks lovely when not sick

I think it may well survive, put it in some new compost and tuck it away. Dont feed it though.

Vic, have you tried that micrrorhysal stuff? Ive found it makes the world of difference
A week in water shouldnt hurt but it may have lost a few roots, that micrro wotsit helps
My front garden if a place to keep hedge trimmings at the mo, some nice plants, but spoiled by the mess!
I do have two grape vines which have gone nuts!
