Wormeries and worm wee
in Talkback
I have gallons of worm wee to use but a bit worried as I have read so many negative things about this on the net...help !? I know you dilute it 10 to 1 but still not sure about using it.
Also the tiger worms etc used for compost bins live in decaying matter, so what happens when you put the compost on the garden soil when practically decayed. Do the worms die ? I'd like to think they wriggled back home to the bin but I am not sure how much common sense worms are blessed with.

the tiger worms will be fine and will help draw the half rotted stuff into the soil (almost digging for you!)
the worm tea (or wee) dilute 10 parts water to 1 part tea and put on everything from houseplants to fruit trees. I've never heard anything about it being bad for anything? well apart from don't use it in a pond as you'll get bad algae.
I emptied all my wee into a bottle and then just put a glug of it into each watering can full I did on the allotment. Nothing died and all seems to be going well
