I've not grown them, but I would be inclined to sow them now. Most narcissus seeds need a spell of warmth followed by cold to germinate, so won't be up until next spring. Harvest the seed just as they're starting to go hard and have darkened in colour, and protect the sown seeds from mice.

And just remember that even the tiny ones take a fair number of years to flower.
