Potato problem
Wonder if anyone has come across this?
Some of my Pentland Javelin potatoes have what I assume is scab. The one on the left I am pretty sure is scab but is the one on the right just a severe case or something else? The seed was new this year, purchased from my local garden centre. My soil is light and alkaline and probably dried out during this glorious summer. The top growth showed no problem and was quite luxuriant. Not all tubers are affected. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are your spuds like this. Scab caused by too high Ph .
Thanks, I think you are right. Mine look like this
Can you eat potatoes that have scab on them
Yes, just peel them. The flesh will be fine underneath the skin.
