Alkanet seedling identification.

    The large one with serrated leaves on the left. The 3 to the top of it and any others that look like those. and that other jagged edged on on the right.

    This is fun, weeding without getting dirt under the fingernailsimage

    The two serrated leaves are now gone and the round edge one front left.

    I'll see how they develop now.

    To be honest, I would have resisted weeding until identification was easier.... But that's just me....

    You can do a certain amount of elimination Tara.

    Nothing with smooth, shiny leaves will be alkanet, or those serrated ones, or a monocot.

    That way the ones you want won't be swamped by the ones you don't want. And we all know the ones you don't want germinate firstimage

    Just give them a little tug. If they come out easily they are the valuable plant.image
