Honeysuckle lonicera
I have three honeysuckles, two planted last year and one planted in late March this year. They have all grown well and have lots of new leaf growth but have never flowered and show no signs of producing any flowers. Does anyone know whay and what I can do to encourage flowering?

Honeysuckles can take a while to get established before they flower, sometimes a couple of years. Mine are always covered with mildew resulting in leaf drop and poor flowering. Is it to do with our climate being more humid perhaps! Doesn’t help you I know, but if anyone else has a solution and is there a problem with our Honeysuckles?
I agree Ive had honeysuckle 3years before they flower.
Gracie5, persistent mildew on honeysuckles can be due to dryness at the roots or excess rain - it's one of these plants where I feel that I can't win!
Thank you for the feedback. I will just have to be patient, my neighbours planted two at the same time and they are currently in flower so hopefully this time next year......
