Hi, My daughter has had a wisteria for 9 years that has never flowered, it is west facing - I prune it correctly. Mine flowers twice a year and is beautiful, but what could be wrong with her's
When I was a little girl, this plant was known as the Half Crown plant - a half crown being Two shillings and sixpence.
Why?
Because in February, (2nd month) all lateral buds should be cut back to 2 buds from base growth, and in June (6 month) all lateral shoots should be trimmed back to 6 buds from the base growth.
I did this from the first year I had my Wisteria (grown form an air-layered cutting and it flowered the following year....
Grafted plants shouldn't take so long to flower. The 20 years is for seed-raised plants. RHS site says feed with sulphate of potash in spring, and make sure the plant is kept moist between June & September when the flower buds are forming. Hope this helps...

I've had mine about the same length of time and so far it's never flowered either. Mine looks very healthy and has loads of growth but no flowers.
It's supposed to be a good idea to buy them in flower - I believe there are some un-named, seed raised plants which are very shy flowering.
My gardener told me they can take up to 20 years to flower. I'm just biding my time.
