CAN ANYBODY HELP ME PLEASE. I HAVE 2 DOGWOODS ONE YELLOW AND ONE RED.
I PRUNED THEM AT THE RIGHT TIME OF YEAR AND IN THE RIGHT WAY AND THEY ARE GROWING BEAUTIFULLY BUT INSTEAD OF BEING UPRIGHT THEY HAVE SPINDLY BRANCHES AND TRAILING ALONG THE FLOOR.
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME TO PUT MY BEAUTIFUL DOGWOODS RIGHT PLEASE

Thank you for that. Our ground gets water logged when it rains in the winter. Yes it gets fed regularly.????
I have the same planting combination in several parts of the garden. The ones nearest the house get pruned back to about 18" every spring.I don't bother to feed them, don't seem to need it. The ones firth ernest away get pruned as shape requires!
i always think if them in the roundabouts on the roads and think if how they cope there they can cope anywhere!
