Is anybody here familiar with herniaria glabra? I've had to dig up pennyroyal that was spreading way too fast and I want to put herniaria in the spot where the pennyroyal was but I'm afraid I will waste my seeds if July is too late to plant? Maybe I'll just plant a few seeds, keep them protected from harsh sun and see what happens.

That's a good idea about the seed tray and I will do that, but I sure was hoping to get the bare dirt where the pennyroyal was covered with green before winter comes. What I'm afraid of is that they will not have had enough time to get strong enough to make it through a freezing cold winter.
