Wild garlic seeds help

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a wild garlic plant. I collected 12 seeds (couldn't see the rest!) I've had them in an old empty packet (white with silver lining inside-type-ones)
I know it's too early to plant garlic now. I'm just eyeing up the garden and drawing up plans, ready for autumn. I have ground beds, a raised bed, poly tunnel, cold frame and pots. So lots of options.
I would just like any advice, things to be cautious and mindful of, just any mistakes you can see me walking in to here, let me know!
I'm pretty sure they'll germinate, the forest I took them from (private land with permission) has thousands of the plants and they've been covering the floor for years, coming up every year.
The thing that worries me the most is the seeds getting eaten, then redistributed (poo-ed out) miles away! Does this even happen? lol

Note those thousands of plants
They are somewhat invasive. It's too early to plant garlic bulbs but the best time to sow any seed from wild hardy plants is when the plant sows it. In a.pot and leave it outside. I've never grown wild garlic, it grows itself, so I don't know if it will germinate quickly or in spring

Difficult to get rid of if it gets out of hand.
If you are determined sow the seeds now; that is what the garlic plant does in the wild.
Yeah it's literally like a carpet!
Thanks, I'll put half in now, and half I'll save for whatever new bed I'll dig up in autumn
I have some wild garlic; bought them as young plants, I grow them surrounded by weed suppressing membrane covered in pea shingle as I know they are invasive. The leaves are great in spring salads.
