Poorly Aloe vera

Recently i have acquired an Aloe vera plant from one of my grandparents close friend she had it neglected in a corner with no sunlight and hardly any water, Below i enclose a picture of my plant , I have had it for four weeks and have seen no improvement the tips of the leaves seem lumpy and feel like they are thin and wilted , has anyone got any tips or ideas what i can do for this plant any help is appreciated many thanks x

    Aloes grow fresh from the inside. Well, mine do anyway image



    Looks like you've got 3 good looking plants there. I'd repot them into a pot each, give them a good soak then put them in a semi shady spot, preferably with morning sun which isn't as hot as the sun is later on, if that makes sense



    When I repot mine, I do a mix of 2/2/4- 2 sharp sand, 2 grit (some at the bottom of the pot for drainage) and the rest soil. Mine love that mix and the babies I potted up in September last year have gone mad, some are a foot high!



    They don't like loads of water generally but with yours I'd be tempted to give them a little bit every other day or so just to help them along
