Leaves on the lawn

We have several trees surrounding our property that sheds leaves begging in June usually and get stuck in between the blades of grass on our lawn. The leaves are quite small in size about the size of a finger nail. They are very unsightly and difficult to remove. My cylinder mower misses them completely, while my hover mower simply blows them all around. Does anyone have any suggestions how to deal with the leaves and offer a solution. I don't really want to have to get the lawn raker out every week. Removal of the trees is out of the question as they are on private land one garden away from ours. We will now have leaf fall from now right through to November.

Edd I did think about getting the blower out, seems a bit extreme at this time of year but it may be my only solution, thanks.
  • Hey there! I want to purchase a lawn mower. I've been wondering what is the best brand for it. Suggestions anyone? Thanks!

Best to start a new thread for that Vicente - people will really only look here if they have a solution/advice  re Greg's query about fallen leaves. image

You can buy a lawn vac.

  • Greg, if you don't use your leaf-blower for blowing leaves what do you use it for?image
