Another mystery

This plant has grown massively this year after removal of nearby trees. Herbaceous perennial, grows to about 4ft tall, leaf to 1ft long, pale pink flower spike about 3-4in, fruit spike about 6in. Thanks.

    I can see the pictures Dove, there are 4 of them. Nice plant but no idea what it is, sorry.  Someone else will though - usually Dove if she can see the pics image

    Phytolacca americana, the fruits will ripen to purple and the leaves go red. Splendid in autumn. Don't eat the fruits

    Thanks very much for that. I've never seen it anywhere else. Google tells me it can get to 3m so that should be interesting!
