This plant has grown massively this year after removal of nearby trees. Herbaceous perennial, grows to about 4ft tall, leaf to 1ft long, pale pink flower spike about 3-4in, fruit spike about 6in. Thanks.

Phytolacca americana, the fruits will ripen to purple and the leaves go red. Splendid in autumn. Don't eat the fruits
