chilliies with attitude

my chilli plant is healthy ,but my chilli fruit are dis formed they have growths on the side of them and are not straight enough can someone with a knowledge of science

 help so i can understand what is going on in the soil thanks again.

    Thanks dove lol.... Marksman what type of chillies are they? why do you think it is the soil? can you take a pic? lol there are a few reasons chillies get growths spider mites being one of them but poor pollination can also be another reason.... a pic would help...

  • cant take photo, but bad pollination is most likely they are cayenne peppers not all are like this!, the plant is healthy and with 150 odd of chilli's on it, not to worried but i love knowledge and i need to know so i can further my for next years produce
