Poorly bamboo and Harlequin Ladybird infestation

I have a large potted bamboo which was doing really really well until recently - it now has brown curling leaves and black spots all over and today has the biggest infestation of ladybirds and what i now know to be harlequin ladybirds I have ever seen. What can I do????

The ladybirds will be after something else, usually aphids. leave them be.
The brown curling leaves sound like too dry? Dont know about black spots, you probably need a bamboo expert for that.
