Hi, I have a number of Roses growing in the front garden which need tidying up. On some of the Rose bushes there are a number of branches that have seven leaves and some with five leaves. I am unsure what to do, do i cut the seven leaves off or leave them?. All advice greatly appreciated.

The number of leaflets isn't important. Suckers come from below the graft if it's a grafted rose, that's from at or below ground level.
