Aloe Vera Issues

I'm just after some advise. I was given an aloe vera plant and after a bout of over watering it...it seemed fine and even gave off pups. However, now the bottom leaves seem pale and thin. Almost yellow. Do you know what would cause this? It's currently on my south facing kitchen window sill. Advise would be appreciated! Many thanks.

Too much Sun in the windowsill. Put it in a bit of shade for the summer.
and don't water it to often and feed only in summer once a month.
