Labelling

Every year I label my cuttings and seedlings in the greenhouse. I use plastic labels and have  tried using pencil and /Sharpies to write on. By the end of the winter  it is impossible to read because it has faded away. Help . How do you all label your plants.

I write with a 2B pencil and it stays on fine.

The pencil I used came with the pack of labels. I will try  a 2 b pencil and look  for the Stabilo pen . Thanks everyone

I  use a permanent ink pen and turn the label so the writing is away from the sun.

I Use a Dymo. Have had it for several years and use it in the kitchen as well. It has really earned its keep, even though it seemed expensive to buy.

I just use any old pencil that comes to hand; I find it takes a bit of elbow grease to get the writing off later in the season!image

I've started to use a brother labeller with laminated labels. The ordinary labels fade.
