Unknown flower

I planted some bulbs last year and I have had these flowers come up and have no idea what they are or whether they turn into a flower. Please help as I have lots of them lol. They have very long stems.

I would suggest that it is an Allium but not sure which one
It's Allium sphaerocephalon.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
They will have very few flowers right on the top and the head itself will be a bit bigger when they come up next year.
