Hi all just a quick question above raspberry "malling jewel" I bought and planned this in autumn 2013 and it has put up a good few strong canes this year.
As far as I knew this variety of raspberry is floricane so my understanding is that this should produce fruit on this year's growth next year. However, it has started to produce fruit around the tops of each cane in the last week. Have I got this wrong and it is actually a primacane or should it produce a little fruit this year and then give a full crop next year. As you may have guessed I am slightly confused! Hope someone can help. Thanks Alex
