Plant suggestion please

L BennettL Bennett Posts: 92

Ok so I made some tiny little planters on my shed with some old wood i had, nothing too exciting but i like them image

I have pansies in there and they are 'just' about happy however as there is not much soil they dry out super fast, my question, what would be a better suited flower please?

Sedums are usually used as roofing plants. They cope with minimal soil.

I think you have to take cuttings with thyme as it is a woody plant

I would have said sedums too, fleshy leaved plants can manage better. The sort of plants that grow in walls.

Some of the thymes root as they go. You might find a rooted piece.

And sempervivums, house leeks (as opposed to house leaks)

Just thought of this one which will grow between paving stones, erigeron karvinskianus.
