Rudbeckia problem

Can anybody please tell me what's the problem with my rudbeckia goldsturm. Planted this spring from a garden centre. Well watered and in a sunny position. Photo attached , many thanks

The leaves look healthy enough Wendy but it seems to be having trouble flowering so it may not have established itself well enough yet.  Try feeding it with a liquid feed (tomato feed is also good for flowering plants) but you may need to wait until next year when it should perform.  Give the ground around it a sprinkling of fish, blood and bone fertilizer when it appears next spring to help it get going. image

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

  • Looks like I`ll have to be patient , Many thanks ,Wendy .
