Feeding & Mulching

I just wondered what you peeps thoughts are on this.

My rose beds are covered with a 2in layer of bark-chippings (fine stuff) and when it comes to feeding, I prefer powdered feed rather than liquid.

Although I know the feed will dissolve & get through the mulch eventually, I just wondered if liquid would be my best option.

David, if you prefer powdered feed, can you not just scrape back your bark, apply feed then cover again.

I think you should use whatever you are used to, you must be doing right you have a fantastic garden.
