Sambucus Nigra Black Tower

While on a recent family trip i ventured into a garden centre and purchased this new shrub with no thought as to where i was going put it, i'm sure we all have done it at some time, two weeks on and i am still none the wiser as to what i should do with it, where to plant it, what to plant it with, i'm now thinking of just potting it on to give me more time to decide, does anyone have any ideas suggestions? 

 It does have an unusual growing habit and colour hence why i had to have it
