It bloody well won't Edd - at least not if I get it first . Anyway I'm starting to think you were right in the first place. The site that you directed me to in you earlier post actually was talking about Sawfly infestation on Pecan Trees etc. Which led me to believe that you were wrong. But after Googling British Sawfly, I managed to identify the larvae. Plus I had seen a couple of very odd-looking flies in the conservatory during the recent spate of hot weather. They were black bodied with very bright yellow legs (the other one had red legs). I think we found the culprits. And to think I helped the little horrors to freedom....

Sawfly are rampant this year!!!!
