Sad Honeysuckle

Hi

I recently bought a new small bush honeysuckle to plant in my sunny garden next to a fence, and although it did well to start with, the leaves soon started to drop off. I pruned back the affected branches and it did start to do a little better, then I fertilized with coffee dregs as I'd read that plants seem to like it - and now all remaining leaves are covered in a white mildew?  What should I do next?

Give it a real good soaking, dryness at the roots is the main cause of mildew on Lonicera
