I should like to know the type and make of the unusual hoe that Monty Don was using on GQT last Friday, 27th June.

    Right, watched it all the way through, didnt see a hoe, did see a very odd rake, i read somewhere that Monty often visits old tool sales, so it may be a one off im afraid, sorry image



    Im sure someone else on here may have more advice image

    He has a rake type thing called a double lute. I didn't see a hoe.

    I like a wilkinson sword thing called a swoe.

    On the allotment, my fave was a swan necked hoe-amazing on hard ground! image
