patty3,I do hope your delicate sensibilities haven't been too badly affected by my daughter's 'yucky ailments'.However,as pointed out by less judgemental members of the GW forums, the potting shed is intended for off-topic subjects which presumably includes yucky human ailments image

David, thanks for that info. She's had a little residual bleeding which was disconcerting for her but not really serious and she's been ok since. Her age being 15,she's very concerned over how she appears to others, especially her friends.

Pauline and OL - thank you to both, you're very kind.

Patty your comment offends me much more than "yucky bits" ever could. I truly hope that you realise what a COMPLETE insensitive pathetic little prat you must sound but alas I don't think you have the intelligence. (Intelligence - to comprehend, or as used in this case a measurement of how clever you may or not be).

Mr. Fishy - I'm so sorry I haven't posted sooner, this thread completely passed me by. I hope Beth is almost back to normal now if not completely sorted. As for what you can put up a nose - believe me you should try baby sitting boys you'd be amazed what they could get up there to get out of bed time! Gross doesn't come close but fortunately snot is quite the lubricant at getting things back out!!

This must be your family had their limit to medical things now. I hope the rest of the year proves entirely uneventful!! XX

Clari, your post made me smile in more ways than one image

As for your 'yucky' tales of boys and things up noses....it's not just boys, my sister had to go to hospital when she was little for pushing peas up her nose!!!!! imageimage

    Mike is a star.

Hope Beth is almost back to normal Fishy and ditto what Clari says about your year getting better x

Clari image, you made me giggle too, and ditto from me.

What a lovely thing to do Mike, hope your feeling better too.

Hope Beth is feeling better and things are not so uncomfortable for her. Best wishes to all the fishes and lets hope all your troubles are behind you. Love Lily xx

No worries Clarington,Beth is recovering very well and should be back to school next week. I'm hoping we don't have any more hospital stays this year but outpatient appointments are still on the cards due to Mrs Fish's long term health problems.

OL and Lily - many thanks for your very kind support.Echoing Mike's remarks about the kindness of everyone here,I find these boards a great comfort in challenging times.Coming on to the boards and reading posts made by other people offering an ear,it really can and does make a huge difference and I can't thank all of you enough. You're all stars in my book image

Mike - you're a wonderful man,I think you need to know that. We have a plant stall in a nearby village where all proceeds go to a donkey sanctuary,I'm not sure which one.How many are there?
